The Confraternity of Christ’s Peaceful Sacred Heart

We meet the 4th Saturday of each month at 9:15am in the Gomes Center (after the 8:30am Mass). Come grow in union with Christ. Meetings include prayer, ancient Lectio Divina, magisterial church teaching, wisdom of the saints, refreshment, formation and friendship with others as we grow into the image of Christ - in the hope of bringing His light to the world.

The Healing Prayer & Deliverance Ministry meets in the St. Katherine Drexel Chapel on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6:30pm.

Legion of Mary - Our Lady of Joy Praesidium

The Legion of Mary is a world-wide association of Catholics whose members are service oriented on prayer and the facilitation of the spiritual works of mercy. Guidance is provided from a priest of the parish. The primary purpose of the Legion of Mary is to lead people to Jesus Christ through the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate Mediatrix of all Grace by pro-active prayers and spiritual works.

Padre Pio Prayer Group

St. Padre Pio led a remarkable life of miracles as the first stigmatized priest in the history of the Church. St. Padre Pio prayed to the Sacred Heart of Jesus every day for the intentions of those who requested his prayers. The Padre Pio prayer group meets on the 1st Friday of the month for the 8:30 daily Mass followed by the Sacred Heart Devotions.

Rosary at Planned Parenthood

Remember the Rosary at Planned Parenthood at 32nd Street & Thunderbird every Tuesday at 6:00pm. Please join us in our prayers for the end of abortion.

Small Christian Communities

Our SCC meeting that meets every Wednesday at 9:15am is adding new members and that makes it easy for the new people to learn what this prayer meeting is all about. We want new members so if you want some instant great friends just come to the Senior Lounge and join us.

Joining a Small Christian Community will not only help you learn more about your faith but also make you some new friends. You will be able to dig deeper into the weekly Sunday readings and see what they are calling you to do.

Spirit of Hope Bereavement Support Group

St. Joan of Arc will be offering a Spirit of Hope Bereavement Support Group on the 2nd Sunday of the month (October through March) at 2:00pm in the Gomes Center, October to March. If you are in need of consolation after losing a loved one,this Christ-centered faith sharing group is for you. Prayer, reflection, scripture, sharing and fellowship will be offered.
