What is this year's theme?
Our 2023 Vacation Bible School theme is Cool Kingdom Party. Join us as we enter through the gates of the kingdom and learn all about Mary and how she leads us closer to Jesus!

When is VBS 2023?
This year's VBS will be held the week of Mon, Jun 19 - Fri, Jun 23. We hope to see you there!

Is VBS open to everyone?
From Mon, Mar 27 - Sun, Apr 30, VBS registration will be open to our registered parishioner families. We will open up registration to additional families outside the parish beginning Mon, May 1, if space permits.

How much is VBS?
Cost for VBS is $50 per child, Maximum $150 per immediate family - 3+ children.

How old do kids need to be to attend VBS?
Participating children must be at least 4 years old (and potty trained) and up until having finished 5th grade as of May.

Can we volunteer for VBS?
Yes! We welcome both teen and adult volunteers to assist in our many VBS activities. Interested teen volunteers may reach out with Mac Coomer at mcoomer@stjoanofarc.com and adult volunteers can contact Laura Gallant at lgallant@stjoanofarc.com.

How can I register?
Registration forms are available at our Parish Office. The Parish Office is open Mon-Thu 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00-5:00pm, and Fri 9:00am-12:00pm.

Also, if you have just done your spring cleaning and have some new or very gently used items to get rid of, we could use the following items for Vacation Bible School this year!

Needs List for VBS:

  • Construction paper (all colors)
  • Shiny/sparkly paper for decorations
  • Royal-looking fabric (golds, purples, blues, silvers, shiny or sparkly)
  • Crepe-paper Streamers (Purple, Gold, Dark Blue, Silver)
  • Duct Tape (silver, several rolls – possibly 5 needed)
  • Craft Jewels (the kind with the flat side that can be glued onto a flat surface. Big size is better.)
  • Large "treasure box" (cardboard is fine!)
  • Candelabras
  • (Fake) Gold coins
  • Toy swords and shields
  • Aluminum foil
  • 125 ceramic or plastic mini pots (for decorating and planting in)
  • Plastic Vases or medium size glass Mason jars (125 needed) 
  • Wooden dowels (one foot long) (125 needed)
  • Crowns, tiaras and capes
  • Medium size Cardboard packing boxes
  • Gray spray paint
  • Black acrylic paint

Additionally we are looking for a couple of people to sponsor $50 scholarships for families in need. We are also happy to accept monetary donations marked to “VBS” to go towards food costs for the lunch and snack available during VBS.
