That Man is YOU!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I would like to invite the men of our parish to prayerfully consider becoming a part of a wonderful men’s group called “That Man is You!” Last year, 30 to 40 men gathered in Santa Maria Hall every Saturday morning at 6:45-8:15am to learn how to be real men in the modern world. Our first session is September 19th. They were exposed to some amazing research from science and the teachings of the Catholic faith. They learned about the wisdom of the Saints. They were able to develop a vision of authentic men who are now capable of transforming themselves, their families and greater society.

The program is divided into two 13-week sessions.

This year is entitled, “The Revelation of the Father”. We will consider man in his relationship to his children. It is modeled on the life of St. Joseph, the man chosen to be the foster father of Jesus Christ, God Incarnate.

The Fall semester considers the reality of fatherhood and discovers a mystery far deeper than a simple biological reality. Integrating the latest medical science with the vision of St. Joseph presented in Scripture, The Revelation of the Father discovers a mystery that touches God. Indeed, men relive and reveal on earth the very fatherhood of God. This spiritual reality has attracted the enmity of Satan. As such, The Revelation of the Father takes an honest look at the challenges facing fathers in modern culture.

The Spring semester considers the moral environment confronting youth and sets forth the vision of a child capable of making moral decisions in the face of significant pressure. It discovers in St. John Bosco’s Preventive System of Education the parenting method perfectly suited to modern times. It integrates the Seven Steps to a Healthy, Happy, Holy Family with Don Bosco’s Preventive method to provide practical guidance to parents in developing a “parenting plan of life.”

COME! PRAY! ENJOY GENIUNE FELLOWSHIP! GIVE DEEPER MEANING TO YOUR LIFE! You will not be sorry if you take this step in faith.

God Bless,
Fr. Don Kline
